This is the first image I manipulated on Photoshop; for this manipulation I experimented with many different effects on Photoshop, and as well as experimenting with different paint brush tools in filter, I also experimented with the contrast, hue and saturation. I have not taken the date off on this image as I did not think it was necessary but for my final magazine cover image I will take the date off. I like how the girl is just a figure and can not be seen in detail, as it makes the background look more noticeable, this makes the audience think something will be hiding in the trees. I also like the artistic effect this image as although I know it wouldn't be suitable for my magazine cover or the poster as I want the actress to be seen more in my drafts. However, it was good experimenting with Photoshop as every time I use it I become more confident with it and become more experienced putting different effects on.

For this image I decided to make it darker using dark blue. This means the background is dark which I like as you can just see the outline of the trees, I also like her face being shown and how the picture has an effect on it which makes it look a bit blurry. I experimented with different colours for this image and another colour I liked was dark green, although I think the blue made it look scarier. I decided to edit this image as I thought the pose she was doing would look good edited as it is quite a scared and innocent pose.

This is my favourite image out of the images I manipulated. This is because I like how it is sharpened and also her eyes look like they're giving someone a scary glance. The black background adds to the darkness of the picture, and if I changed it I would experiment with having a few tree outlines behind her. I think I should have taken the date out of this image to make it look more professional, but it is only the first set of manipulated images so if I decide to do anything with this picture I can always edit the date out.
