When me and my group had discussed ideas for our trailer we never really considered sounds, so we decided to write individual transcripts to see what sounds would go best with our trailer. When we had the basic plot and started to look in more detail this is when we realised our trailer needed dialogue/sounds to make it more successful.
This is my basic transcript:
'Mum i'm going out now i'll be back around 7'
'Okay see you then dinner will be ready'
I would then put heavy breathing in when she is looking round to see who is following her.
Then when she realises i would this 'AHHHH! SOMEBODY HELP ME, PLEASE' and then the man whispering 'no'.
This is not a lot of dialogue but it is only a basic idea and after the audience research i done i realised not much dialogue in a horror trailer is a good idea.
