This is the establishing shot for our trailer. As I am director I picked a few different places along the street to film to see which one looked best and this is the one we picked. We stood in the entry to film this so you could get a clear view of the road because the other places were just on the road so we couldn't fit the whole shot in.

This shot was not originally on our storyboard but was added in when we were editing. This was originally a shot Hannah filmed and we judged how close up the shot should be to get the scary effect just right. While this was being recorded I directed Kate on what to do with her eye and gave her instructions to slow down her eye moving or to speed it up, or to look a certain way.

This is another establishing shot of the street and it was picked out of the different ones we shot. This was part of the ones I chose a few different places to film as they didn't look right. While this was happening I was directing Hannah on whether the speed seemed right and after we worked as a team this shot was completed to how we wanted it.

This was our producers logo. Me and Hannah made a variety of logo's on Photo shop and this is the one our group chose. We then all looked at transitions on Final Cut Pro and decided that transition looked best as it wasn't too much but suited our genre.

This was a shot showing Kate shutting the door. We all had different ideas of what this shot should look like so I suggested we filmed both to see which looked best. While Hannah was filming I was directing Kate on her facial expression and the speed she had to move, I was also directing her in between shots as this shot was proving tricky to get exactly right. After the shots had been filmed we watched them as a group and decided which one looked best.

This is a repeat of the eye shot. We filmed a lot of footage of the eye shot as I was directing Kate to do different things to see which looked best so we made another black and white shot as we thought two would have more of an effect than one, so we tried it and it did.

This shot was not on our storyboard but as we were walking to where we were filming we thought it was worth filming it because it showed the sunset which shows the audience it is going to be dark soon in the trailer. Sally, Aimee and Kate went to filming shot to set it up while Me and Hannah stayed to film this. Hannah filmed this a couple of times as I was directing her to do different things to see which looked best - e.g. the camera moving and not moving.

This was Kate walking through the gate and this was filmed a few times and I was directing Kate to look different ways and walk at different speeds to see which looked better. I also advised Hannah to move the camera forward as Kate walking out of the shot took too long. I do not like the horse being in this shot but wherever we filmed there would have been a horse so we couldn't change it.

This was the tag line for our film. When I look back at this shot I do not like the font or the colour as I think they are both too plain and the grey does not stand out against the black, however it cannot be changed as they came with the transition and we thought the transition fitted really well.

This shot took a while to film as Sally's hand got in the way and the horse kept getting in the way. I directed Hannah on where to stand to film this shot and also told Sally when to let the gate go. After this had been a few times it looked good and the sound of the gate sounds good as it starts the eerie feeling of the trailer. I liked this being a close up as it really focuses on it rather than focusing on the surroundings too.

Our group weren't sure whether they wanted Kate walking to or from the camera so we filmed her doing both and when she was walking to the camera I was in the trees directing her what to do and how to walk and what trees to walk through and when she was walking from the camera I told her what to do before we filmed and was standing where she had to stop so she knew. We filmed three of these shots and everyone agreed which one was best.

I directed Kate on what to do in this because it was simple so she didn't need much instruction so it only took one time to film. I directed her at the speed to move so the camera didn't blur as it does if you move too fast and where to stand so she was seen just right for the camera.

This was the quote I originally came up with when I was making my posters and magazine covers and the rest of the group liked. I like the place in the trailer it is in because it gives a break from the eerie shots to enforce it is going to be a scary film. Like the other one I would have liked the text to be more noticeable but the transition would have looked too much if it was different to the first one and these shots run smoothly ran than having sharp cuts so they suit the trailer.

This was an establishing shot showing Kate getting deeper into the woods so therefore it is becoming more dangerous. I directed where would be best to stand to film in this shot so you can get all of the woods, this was a simple shot to film so it didn't need much direction.

This was a difficult shot to direct as everything I tried didn't look right. Her head was never turned right or it didn't look how we pictured it. Eventually I directed her to move her head while the shot was being filmed and this looked good and looked as if there was someone behind her.

This is an establishing shot of the wedge and it was another part of the footage but the footage was long so we managed to get another shot out of it.

This was another difficult shot to film because we wanted Kate to move but stay in the same position so all of her face was in the camera. As director I was directing as we were doing the shot telling her where to move, how fast and slow and also when she was going out of the shot so she knew to move back into shot. We filmed a lot of footage for this so we knew we would have some that could be used and the footage we used was the footage we thought looked more effective when we were looking through it.

This is a shot of Kate running and I directed her when we go and told her when to stop, I also told her the speed to run and it took a few shots to get the speed exactly right. I like this shot as it gives the effect someone is hiding watching her so gives over the effect of someone stalking her which is what we wanted.

This was a simple shot to film and although it looked horrible when we were filming it it looks really good now. I was simply directing her what to do with her eye; at first she was moving her eye left and right but up and down but I directed her to do it up and down and that looked really good.

We filmed this shot quite a lot of times as it was difficult to film because Hannah had to run with Kate holding the camera. I directed Kate where to run to and where from and also the speed to run. The speed was tricky as Hannah had to be able to walk with the camera at the same speed. Kate ran too fast at first which caused the shot to go everywhere but after a while she ran at the right speed and we got the shot we wanted.

For the shrine our group put pictures up everywhere and then I stood back and directed where would be best to stand to film the shrine. This was quite difficult to judge as there were pictures high and low so it was tricky to be able to film them all.

For this shot I directed Kate on what to do when she saw the shrine, she did this very well as she looked confused but then also scared as she had been being followed before and this just adds to how scared she is. I wasn't sure on the shrine idea at first because I couldn't picture how it would work but now I feel it was successful.

This is when Kate properly sees the shrine and I directed her to continually get more scared as she sees the shrine more. This shot leads into the other shot and her innocence in this shot is really brought out by how scared she looks and her clothes also add to her innocence being portrayed.

This shot needed to be perfect so it took quite a long time to get right. Every time it was filmed and I was directing Kate it didn't seem right for some reason. Kate walked too fast or when she saw picked the picture off the tree it just didn't seem right. After we worked together to get the directing and the camera right the shot worked really well and now it looks really good.

This is the last shot in our trailer and we thought it would work well if it didn't have any sound so it was clear it was going to be the end of the trailer. 'Click' is the same font as the magazine cover so that 'Click' in that font is associated with the film. We also put the release date in so it had more information on it than just the film name as that looked a bit empty. The release date is in a simple font because it would have looked too much with 'Click' being liquefied.
Also, our trailer is being entered into a local competition.
